You sir, are a man of great flash skills... and a great lover of porn.
That's the plot?
Wow, really? That's the plot to the film that sexually deprived teenage girls go and see over and over again? That is far more bland and pointless (the movie, not your flash cartoon) than I could have ever imagined. Now I'm convinced that Edward is as much of a vampire as Dame Edna is a woman.
This series melted my heart.
After the rather depressing theme to Step Four, I am eternally happy with the conclusion to this series. Even when you used the oldest drama movie cliche in the book (catching the girl right before she leaves on an airplane), which actually works well into the tongue-and-cheek storyline. I especially enjoyed how all of the characters throughout the episodes came together in the end to help the couple. And I liked the very realistic message that while their love may not change society, they are willing to live in the world they live in for the sake of each other and their friends.
I should have been prepared for this with the way that the last chapter ended. But this was certainly a polar opposite switch in both style and tone. I've always viewed this series as a vehicle for gay rights, but now you've really hit the nail on the head. Perhaps it was a bit too much at once, but as opposed to the other films, I can only watch this one once or twice. Not because it wasn't any good, but because it's so depressing. That being said, I feel that this is a very important film that I feel anyone who is against gay rights should see.
a tribute to soilders
Coming from a military family, I see this not as a fan art of Metal Gear Solid, but as a tribute to all of the men and women in uniform.
